Each new Alcan helps
us remember absent friends who won't pass our way again. Some participated
in a single event, most returned year after year. Some died of natural
causes, others as a result of the restless forces that made them such memorable
teammates and companions in our journeys.
The 2010 Alcan is dedicated
to Gary Diebolt and Ned Marandino. Ned
(2006) was a model cycle competitor and inspration to us all.
Gary (2009) was
a best friend and driving companion for 30+ years, and a very long-time
Alcan, RASC and SCCA organizer.
