This is a revised schedule, adjusted for 2002 Alaska Ferry sailings. Lodging from the night of August 14 through the morning of August 23 (9 nights accomodation) is included in the entry fee and (except for ferry stateroom) booked by the organizers.   Additional rooms at the event finish in Jasper are available at a special rate.
Entrants will be on their own for accomodation prior to the event start on August 14. Some options are:
 *  The Woodmark Hotel.  Our event headquarters at Carillon Point in Kirkland, on the shore of Lake Washington.  This is an outstanding facility with underground parking.  Rates are $225 if reserved by July 12, phone 425-822-3700.
 *  La Quinta Inn.  Less than a mile south, just off Hwy 520 at 10530 NE Northup Way.  Rates are $66+, phone 425-828-6585.

Ferry details are as follows (for more information see the Alaska Marine Highway web site):
* The ferry cruise is optional: teams are responsible for their own reservations and expenses.  Reservations are open, and may be cancelled without penalty up to 14 days before sailing.  Web reservations are an option, or call AMH local reservation numbers: [Juneau (907) 465-3941,  Anchorage (907) 272-7116 ]
* 2001 summer fares were $374 for vehicles up to 19' ($314 up to 15'), $112 for 2-wheel motorcycles, and $143 per passenger.  (A 2-berth stateroom is $116, ferry passengers may deduct this from their entry fee).
* Ferry passengers will do the 'Ksan Village tour and TSD, then spend the night of Aug 15 in Prince Rupert.  The ferry should depart at 7:45 am Friday Aug 16, and arrive in Skagway at 4:15 pm Saturday Aug 17.  Ports of call include Ketchikan, Wrangell, Petersburg, Juneau, and Haines
